Kostya Kimlat
Kostya Kimlat is a magician, mentalist, speaker, and expert in the role perception plays in business.
But Kostya wasn’t always “The Business Magician,” traveling the world (and Zooming) to inspire audiences.
When he was nine years old, his Ukrainian-born family started over, seeking opportunity in the United States as Soviet refugees.
After arriving, Kostya saw a magic special on TV. He was blown away. So his father invested $160—no small sum for the new Americans—in an 8-volume book set so Kostya could learn magic.
His dad’s $160 investment led Kostya to:
perform as a corporate magician in hundreds of cities on five continents;
empower executives at organizations like Sysco, AT&T, Siemens, and NASA;
create See Magic Live, which books magicians for events around the world;
lead the team of magicians for the Orlando Magic NBA team;
and fool Penn & Teller on their hit TV show, Fool Us, a performance that went viral on YouTube and made Kostya the closing act of the duo’s hit Vegas show.
Through hundreds of performances at business conferences, conventions, and sales meetings, Kostya got a behind-the-scenes look into how businesses lead, motivate, and connect with their people, inspiring him to build a business around his passion for the art of magic and the psychology of perception as a fun motivational speaker.
Now, as the Business Magician, Kostya performs virtual magic shows and in-person magic shows for professional audiences worldwide, and as a motivational speaker, teaches audiences to see things from the perspectives of others—customers, clients, and colleagues.
And his dad is very, very proud.
