My name is Matt Growden and I specialize in walk-around, close-up magic suitable for adults and family audiences. I have over 8 years professional experience performing in restaurants for such clients as TGI Fridays. I have also had the pleasure of working with corporate clients like SCI Corporation, Sci-Quest museum and Downtown Huntsville Inc. My performance is best suited for small groups of between 2 to 10 people, so that everyone may appreciate the magic “up close and personal”. I can perform for groups that are seated, like at a company banquet or groups that are standing, like during the cocktail hour of a wedding reception. My presentations center around little known scientific phenomena or weird inventions. For example, have you ever seen a kitchen sponge that absorbs solids? A portable hole? A Magic Eye puzzle that allows the audience to perform magic? I also have a Sharpie marker that writes in any color called for and an unusual demonstration of the powers of static electricity. And you never know when my childhood invisible friend will pay a visit to perform a special trick that will leave you in stitches.
