Roman's first exposure to magic was with his first-grade teacher Miss Hugill (AKA) Hug's The Clown who taught an elective class called illusions as part of her first-grade curriculum.  Miss Hugill introduced young Roman to the local magic shop; California Magic where Roman purchased his first magic tricks.  California Magic has since transformed into California Magic Dinner Theater in Martinez, where Roman has enjoyed watching many magicians perform.

Roman's life changed when he met the Johnson family at Grand Illusions in Carmichael which is one of the last brick and mortar magic shops around.  Grand Illusions is where Roman's interest in magic turned into a love of the art form. 

Thanks to the wonderful teachings and guidance of Roman's great friends and mentors, Steve Johnson and Jim Lambert, Roman has been performing his magic worldwide.
